Howeever the Royal Hort Soc. colors can be more accurate, and I like them in
parens after the literary translation of the color!! What is cerise to one
person can be shocking pink to another. Add that to soil, sun, and the rest
of the effects of climate and you really have a puzzle! IMHO (which may not
be so humble, according to some!) Just in from 6 hours in the garden
sorting, trimming, etc irises - and having to watch someone else having the
