I agree with all you have said. I guess that many of us starting out are
always looking for the best buys and some of these catalogs make things sound
so great. When you comparison shop these catalogs with your locals, most
times the catalog is so much cheaper. you feel that you can get twice as much
and fill an area that much quicker. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I tried that with
Perennial poppies, and it has been 2 years and I have had I plant give me 1
flower, and another that has given me 2 flowers. So now I try to buy local
or go with nurseries that are recommended.
