WRIGHT FLYER was indeed introduced by Earl Hall
after being registered by Horace Wright's wife Sue, who
passed away within the last year. WRIGHT FLYER is
an extremely dependable rebloomer in this area.

As a side note, Horace Wright was indeed a descendant
of one of the Wright Brothers. He introduced several irises
between 1962 and 1983, and two of his irises were
introduced posthumously. 15 irises were introduced in all,
10 of them rebloomers. All but 2 are TBs. The other
TB that has recently been mentioned on iris-talk is CORAL
CHARMER, a nice pink that is also a very dependable
rebloomer in this area. ( Or was that Earl's PINK ATTRACTION
that was noted recently?)

The last query I made about Earl Hall was in August.
He was at home.(Which is indeed now in Eaton) His
memory is very patchy, be he still has
some recall when it comes to irises. The iris garden
is now a vegetable garden, with most of the identifiable
stock having been moved to Hidden Acres Iris Garden
in the spring of 1999.
