I have some imperfect blue bearded yellow seedlings out of
GOLDEN SURREY x LOOKING FORWARD that have been
crossed to SHIRLEY M, a pink with a blue beard. I would use the
pink IB with these seedlings and hope for a quality blue bearded
pink or blue bearded yellow BB or TB that blooms earlier than any
of the aforementioned late blooming TB's.

Hi Walter,
I don't know how fertile it is, but we have an IB that is apricot pink
flushed violet with violet beards called FOLK MUSIC (94). We also have a
brilliant golden yellow with deep violet beards - VIOLET EYES (95). Both of
these are from our apricot pink SDB with blue beards, CORAL WINGS. We
crossed it with Ben Hager's blue bearded pink, MAGIC, to get FOLK MUSIC.
VIOLET EYES came from a bee pod.
