   V. sez: I don't grow this, but it is widely grown in the
area, and is very hardy here.

   V. sez: I have seen this in several VA gardens, where it
was doing well. In fact, it was voted best out of region
cultivar at last years's Region 4 regional in VA.

   V. sez: I grew this for 3 years, and never had a stalk.
Any fan large enough to produce a stalk would rot in
spring. Much prefer GOLD FROSTING as a gold amoena.

   V. sez: GIGOLO was a poor grower and bloomer here, as
have been most of its children. However, I believe ROCK
STAR has GIGOLO as a parent, and it is VERY vigorous and
hardy here.

   V. sez: Some early ones do lousy here - STORYLINE comes
to mind - but some are okay. MYSTIC LACE and PAINTED PLIC
are two early TBs here that do well, and bloom every year.
ELECTRIQUE grew okay here, but had a lousy bud count.
WITCHING looked ill every spring - no rot, no ailment you
cound pinpoint, but the large fans fan would die back, with
no rot. I finally got one stalk after several years, with
about 3 buds.
