My mind is blown. Three irises received and planted in July here in
the moderate climate of a NW island have already (re)bloomed.
IMMORTALITY, SIGN OF LEO, and now PINKNESS and SDB PINK FAWN are
budded up. I hope I still have bloom on SIGN OF LEO when PINKNESS
blooms so I can cross them, launching my search for a pink iris with
a blue beard. SIGN OF LEO had great pollen, so I tried to cross with
IMMORTALITY, but I think the latter was too far gone and I don't
expect it to take. But if I can get that great pollen to take on
PINKNESS, I'll be off and running!
