I haven't had anything to say for a while, but have been reading
along. Three rebloomers (Bonus Mama, Double Shot, Misty Twilight)
are starting to rebloom for me. These are some I received and
planted June 29 from Sutton's.
I am champing at the bit to try hybridizing with these, but am
wondering if this would be too much stress on TBs that have only been
in the ground here for 65 days. I seem to recall somebody advising
removing stalks from new plantings like this to strengthen the plants
and encourage formation of pups. So, I'd like advice from any
experts, especially those experienced with unpredictable Z5 winters,
on whether I'd be smarter to curb my impatience.
Rosalie...I will make a complete report after first frost, but I'm
not sure mine should count this year, as all mine came in this summer
from other places. Do you have a preferred format for Rebloom
Reports?
Mary Lou, near Indianapolis, IN, USA Z5. Keeping good records!
