Larry Harder had a very wide interest in ornamental plants. Larry belonged to
many specialty plant societies, often serving as historian for these groups.
Visiting a rare plant nursery in Oregon with Larry I was impressed by the
breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm of this gentle man. The horticulture
world has lost a good friend.
