Many persons on this Iris-talk did not know Larry Harder--but for those of
us who did, it is hard to realize that we have lost such a wonderful and
caring person. Larry was a quiet person, but did accomplish many things
during his lifetime--and all of the plant societies in which he held
membership shall be at a loss to find someone to take his place. When one
thinks of their lifetime and looks back over their accomplishments--one can
be proud of the people who they have known and the contributions they have
made--
I knew Larry through his activities with AIS--and knew that he did belong to
other plant societies--but did not realize that there were so many societies
and over such a long period of time.
I thank Arnold for putting his obituary here for us to see.
