SPECIES: Knoxville ?I.brevicaulis seeds

For those following the 'mystery' iris whose photo I posted back in
June, seed pods are now starting to mature. One partially filled pod
ripened early and had one ROUND seed, with the corky exterior I guess is
typical of all Louisianas.

Is the seed round because it wasn't squashed into angular form by other
seeds in the pod or are brevicaulis seeds round? I guess I will find
out when the full pods finish ripening....

I will try to remember to post a photo of pods.
