Well it woud not be the best thing to order some right now to plant. You already have it now and have two choices; plant now or hold out of the ground till spring. Plant now is the better one.

I was just out in my front bed weeding when I found an iris that had
been heeved out of the graound and was laying on its side still
putting out quite a bit of roots. well I wanted to save the rizome
as my mother gave it to me, so I dug it up and it is now laying on
the porch waiting a replanting. What I want to know is how late in
North centrial Indiana is it to late to plant Iris? Any fellow
Hoosiers out there?
