Sonya, this sounds really interesting - sure wish I had a clue what you
are talking about. There has been so little discussion here lately, I've
quit checking the archives as often as before, but I guess the
discussions go on, just not at Yahoo.  I miss the discussions, but I
guess we are stuck with things as they are.

Anybody who was in on the discussion care to post something?

<Here  is the Data from the Iris shift we chatted about on Iris-l
                       on  Saturday afternoon .
                       Yes I got all  fired up and shifted 1/2  of each
clump the next morning .
                       This is all your fault Dave , Gerry , Barb  lol
:)

                       Clumps 1-5 ph of 5.2   CF 11.7 temperature soil
at 12 " 7.5 degree C
                       Clumps 6-7 ph of 7.2   CF 5.5   temperature soil
at 12"  7.5 degree C
                       Clumps 8-9-10 ph of 9.25   CF 13.6  temperature
soil at 12" 6.25 degree C
                       Clumps 11-12  ph of 4.25   CF  8.3   temperature
soil at 12" 7.0 degree C
                       All are were growing in nice rich black loamy
soil with a light covering of
                       bark mulch against the weeds.

                       All are now in Full sun and ph of  6.5   CF at 8
                       None will receive any water or wash from the Pool
water or wastes in this
                       new spot .

                       Did some other Random soil tests while I was
"wandering out there" at 8am
                       on Sunday morning ---  just couldn't seem to
sleep in  --- wonder why ;)
                       Results were all with the above range and soil
temperature ranged from
                       6  in heavily shaded area to 8.25 in (full
morning sun

                       Will take comparison photos of blooms and bee
pollinated pods  (if any)
                       and height plus new increases. -- Plus anything
else that is mentioned from
                       the list crew :)
