Welcome to the group! What a wonderful intro!
I think you'll find there are quite a few "Accidental Irisarians" here. And I
am really impressed that you adapted so quickly to the tags and intro thing.
Just a heads up, there is a web page for your region:
http://www.aisregion3.org/ that has a calendar with interesting stuff that
might not be too far for you.
