POLAR KING is excellent in USDA Zones 5 and 6. When I lived in
Lexington, KY, I grew that Iris. It would bloom a couple weeks in spring,
then would bloom from mid September to sometime in November, and into
December in a couple milder years. It has too many cold climate genes to
make it in the south.
