Neil,

I don't pretend to understand all that was posted regarding inheritance of
the umbrata pattern, but I love those kinds of posts.  I haven't attempted
to dig that deep into those areas of inheritance.....yet.

It's nice to know that information has been posted and is there available.
Plus, I never know when something may stick.  I don't know enough to
respond, but I read the posts and often remember that the subject matter
being discussed has a post(s) associated with it.
