Re: TB: speculation on future awards

Thanks Neil - you summarized the recent information for some of the
irises from hybridizers other than Schrieners. Easy to straighten out
the alignment by cutting and pasting and changing font.

Now figure out how to predict future Wister winners/runnersup - those
are the ones I'm trying to guess now. I can't afford to try them all,
so usually wait until they are more than two years past introduction,
but can sometimes get them as gifts or bonuses by the time they are two
years old. More realistic timing is by the time they are at least 4
years old.

From the Schriener intros that I looked up before, all the Wister/Dykes
winners got awards the 2nd and 4th year, so that's the gene pool I'd
like to know more about.

What are the rules again - they are eligible for the Wister for three
years after winning an AM? How many years after winning an HM are they
eligible for an AM?
