I have a friend that works in a meat packing plant. He got me some very hot
seasoning. I made a spray out of it and sprayed  the iris. No digging for
two days. I thought ties is great it worked.

I then took the powder and made a strong solution and injected it in to 20
peanuts in the shell. I know I am a mean person seeking revenge. I scattered
them among the iris and then took some to a iris friend. He is also a mean
person when it comes to squirrels.

I came back home and three were playing in the iris and all 20 peanuts had
been eaten. I also have tried oil of clove with no luck. Two years ago we
trapped 30+ and took them away. Never noticed them being gone.

It is just something I have to live with.
