Re: REB:Rebloomers Revisited

In my opinion there is no such thing as re-bloom. A fan on an iris only
blooms once. Since re-bloom is used as a general term for the cultiver that
blooms more than once. You had re-bloom. Your stalk was set in your garden.
If you had not dug it it would have likly bloomed now. If you had received
the rhizome from another garden it could not be claimed as re-bloom.

Lets not get picky. If you bought a rhizome last year and it did not bloom
at all the next year would it be considered a non-blooming iris? You could
not call it a re-bloomer or even a spring bloomer.
