It seems to me that when recording rebloomers, a note attached to the record of the name of when they were seen blooming in a given year would help with much of this discussion. If they were planted in the spring but bloomed that fall they would only have the one entry. If they bloomed in spring and fall they would have two times noted. If they were blooming continuously They would show a range of bloom throughout the season. It would appear that the end sought is to know how many days the iris is in bloom during the year. I believe the species cross Enfant Prodigy holds the record with over 90 days of continuous bloom.
