crickets

Mike - Linda Mann kind of beat me to the punch as I was also going to suggest 
chickens.   Do crickets have certain years when they are more of a problem?   
About 15 years ago we had a horrible time with crickets.   They would cover 
the entire sides of business buildings downtown.   They were everywhere.   At 
the time I had chickens and would take a trash bag and sweed down the sides of 
the gathering places and take the bags to my chickens who would go completely 
nuts over the crickets.   Have never witnessed this phenomenon before or 
since.   So hopefully the problem will not be a problem next year?
