North Carolina is a hotbed of horticultural activity. Very chic and 
happenening stuff going on, somewhat diminished by the death of J.C.Raulston, and the 
closing of Montrose Nursery, but Tony Avent is creating enough noise for 
several.

Hear the man. Nor are they the ones most likely to be attractive to the 
fashion-forward types of the horticultural world, from whom exciting things can 
often be learned, rather the opposite, actually.
