Having more than 4 people across a three state area reporting life vs
death is replicated enough for my needs <g>
For example, 8 people reported on CLARENCE & HELLO DARKNESS, 6 on
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN, WAR CHIEF, BOOGIE WOOGIE, SPIRIT WORLD, SWINGTOWN,
and CLASSIC LOOK, and 4 or 5 people reported on more.
I would enjoy seeing a 'wave' of death/survival data from
climates/regions close to the cultivar's point of origin, fanning out to
more different climates. That would be even more useful to me than
reports from my own region.
Time consuming for both growers and compilers to handle even minimal
data - I have moved on to other things and haven't even caught up with
life vs death in my own garden this year.
<To use death as a parameter the plant would have to be tried several
times. Bob Pries>
