Re: CAT: Tempo Two, what to do...

Thanks, Will, and offlist note senders. Will, you are in a wet summer
area compared to places like Oz, California, and New Mexico, I think.

For others who might be interested, I heard offlist from some folks in
various places: one had trouble with ENCHANTER, another had success with
SECRET AGENDA, marginal success with ZILLIONAIRE.

I'm probably going to replace DIGNITY DANCER. It was doing incredibly
well here, thought it was going to be a modern version of that tough ol
girl, LIGHTNING RIDGE. It was very healthy, put up two bloomstalks this
spring (first bloom), fertile both ways, then it didn't make any
increase! Talk about a bald rhizome - no leaves, no roots, no nothin'.
If I'd know it was going to do that, I would have crossed it with LR and
had some really nice babies. MidAmerica couldn't supply it. Now it
will take at least another two years to get seeds! rats...

If anybody has the chance, that would make a super cross for
gardenability. Here, at least.

<I have Enchanter, planted it this spring. It's done fine through this
summer. It started to try and bloom, but failed. It continued to put
on increase, so it's fine. hope this helps. Will W SW MO zone
