This is prime planting time in Tucson.  In fact, I'm trying to get  mine back 
into the ground this week.  We don't have to worry about the  ground 
freezing...!  We do have to wait until it cools off some, though it  has been taking 
its time this year.
The Tucson Area Iris Society will be selling iris irhizomes and plants in  
one gallon containers at the Tucson Botanical Garden sale this weekend.   There 
is a wonderful selection of large, well-grown irises from our members,  
including many newer varieties.  Stop by & check it out!
Last weekend's sale at Harlow's Nursery enabled us to donate all the  
proceeds from Louisiana Iris sales to Hurricane Katrina relief.
