Re: CULT: best health G/B/K?

Thanks Griff and Jeff and you two offlisters.

As usual, I have managed to wait till too late to order from most
places, but am seeing fairly good strength from some GBK seedlings, and
those pretty babies that bloomed this spring from ABOUT TOWN pollen have
encouraged me to keep trying a few.  This year, new babies from HARVEST
OF MEMORIES X TREASURED and HoM X BEL ESPRIT look really strong so far.
& like your experience, Griff, ROMANTIC EVENING babies are much stronger
than she is here.

Not true for WHO'S YOUR DADDY babies or some other GBK pollen donors I
tried last year.  As always, I keep thinking that if I ask enough
questions and learn enough (!), I'll be able to figure out ahead of time
which ones are the good ones <g>

Maybe my question should be 'which new GBK irises have produced the
strongest seedlings' rather than which ones are the healthiest parents.
