Lee -- Thanks for correcting my error. Unfortunately, when one first searches the name, it gives only the name of the hybridizer, the year of registration, seedling number, color and height. Only when one goes beyond that, to the fuller description, does it show that the iris was actually introduced. Why it is set up that way, I don't know. But, at least, we now know that that's the way it is. -- Griff

Usually the last thing in the checklist is who introduced the iris. The online data base has Vagabond 2001.

Does anyone know if House of Orange was ever introduced. It was sent to
the
Dallas AIS convention by Frank Foster. Registered in 1995. It was
given to me after the convention. It is a nice orange iris, grows very
well here, but I don't have the 2000-'06 check lists to see if it ever got
introduced.
