CULT: OT

A friend in Ireland just sent me photos taken this past spring of some of my
irises which I sent to her last October.  It was interesting to see how tall
and floriferous they were, considering how late they were planted.  The
foliage, though, showed that there are things in Ireland that like to eat iris
leaves  --  and there was the tell-tale pattern of a borer!  These plants were
given an extra-full clorox treatment before being sent, so I must assume there
are Irish borers.  More's the pity!  --  Griff
