Re: Re: Iris tracking program

You mentioned this a while back, just wondered what you found that worked
for you.

I'm presently trying to find out how many named iris our group grows.

I put it on Access as I get their list in, then transfer it to Excel. Most
people do have Excel, but I don't know enough about Excel yet to really use
it.
I know more about Access and like the way it juggles things. Thank goodness
they are a compatible data base.

So far our little group, that is really only 3 yrs official w 8 people
turning in their list, are up to about 800. I guess one of the things I
thought when I started this would be that many of us grew the same ones.
Not the case.!!
When I get the 2 sellers in our area in list that also belong, my list will
really grow.

I started this for tracking RE but, we just so far, don't have that many.
One of the things people do say - is they are so glad I ask - because they
really had to list everything in their yard and discovered they had more
than they thought. And a few discovered a few things no longer exist.

Does anyone know of a computer program that allows you to keep track of
your
Iris information. Like the names, colors type and hybredizer?
