RE: Info: Open Office vs Microsoft Office


I tried a couple of the earlier versions, but there were too many
incompatibilities to be of much use to me. Plus the lack of an Outlook
type e-mail reader/PIM was a big drawback. I don't know about the
current incarnation, though, but if you need to do a lot of projects
with MS Office users of whatever version, I'd test it pretty thoroughly
to make sure that there are no deal killers in it as far as
compatibility is concerned.
