Robin's explanation is in line with her knowledge as an insurance Claims
person and very accurate. Michelle Snyder does have a copy of the policy and
Commercial Liability language is not "reader friendly" (as personal insurance
policies strive to be) and, as Robin points out, are subject to state laws as
well as legal terms.
The system Michelle has worked out to enable fast turn around on requests
for Certificates of Insurance has benefited all Affiliates as well as the "no
cost to Affiliates" aspect.
