REB & fans

On the subject of individual leaves in the fans.? A couple of my seedlings started showing a high number of fans early in the summer, maybe July.? I watched them for several weeks.? The number of leaves in the fans reached 13 quite some time ago.? They also had hooks.? For several weeks, I watched and checked for stalks daily.? Nothing happened and eventually I forgot to check.??
At this point, new fans have continued to develop, while most of the dead fans have disappeared.? Although I counted earlier, I couldn't guess at the number of fans these two seedlings have developed since spring.? Another seedling, from a different cross, is about to bloom in this bed, but still nothing on 2102-01 or 02.? This is the carport bed, planted in Sept 2007-no spring bloom in 2008.
I've several seedlings with stalks, but since I've observed the disappearing (dead) leaves, any count I'd give on fans would be a guess.? I didn't remove the dead leaves so it was a natural occurrence.?
IMMORTALITY wasn't in shape to rebloom this year, and I was unable to move it.?
