I have been thinking the same thing - if it is also true for spring bloom, it will be a helpful clue when working with maiden spring bloom, deciding what/whether to use for breeding. If I had time to count leaf blades in spring!
It would be nice to have conclusions so easily for a change! ;-)<I would also suspect that the cultivars with lower leaf count on rebloom would be better parents for rebloom. Chuck Chapman>
