I bought some iris from someone this year. One was supposed to be a Siberian variety and the other a Louisiana variety. When they arrived I immediately noticed that the Siberian Iris did not look like the Siberian rhizomes I was familiar with. Of course I notified them. Now that the Louisiana rhizomes are growing they look quite TB looking as well. I know all too well how TB foliage looks. Blue-green and wide. This is my first attempt at Louisianas so I'm unfamilair with their habit, but I have provided the correct minimal situation for them in moist but well drained soil, not in a bog or water situation which is their natural habitat. So my question is... does Louisiana foliage looke more like TB's or more like I. pseudacorus, which I also grow? I cannot find any real good pictures on-line of the the Louisiana foliage. I have attached a pic of what I have. I would appreciate comments before I go and get on someone's (the seller's) case.
