Hello to all
Well today my first iris of the new season opened here in New Zealand & I
thought that the list would be a good place to share this happy event.
Hellcat has opened the season with 4 yes 4 stems opening today one bloom one
each has opened.
Hellcat(IB) never flowered for me before so this is a red letter day & so
the camera has been in action to add to my collection of photo's from my garden.
Wedding Vow(TB) is full of buds 8 at last count. Words "n" music(TB) has
colour showing on 1 of it's 6 stems, so hopefully it will open before the
rain that is forcast for the weekend arrives.
Thanks Rodney for the info. if yours survived I hope mine will too. I am
going to try 1/2 my lousiana's by the pool so if they don't like the water I
will not loose them all.
Next silly question : The lousiana seeds I sowed are beginning to sprout
(yippie) so how big do I let them get before I move them out of the seedling
pot ????
Well thats my good news for the day until the next iris flowers.
Smile & the world smiles too.
