Thornbecke hybrids

Entirely 'do-able'and indeed Thorbecke is still as close behind modern
iris
as is possible to find! Desert Shield (Varner, T. 91) has Thorbecke as
its
pollen grandparent.

Thorbecke is the great grandparent of the all time, superb yellow French
Dykes Medalist, Alice Harding (Cayeux 33). Thorbecke is the pollen
parent
of Tristram (Bliss 19) and Marsh Marigold (Bliss 19). I do not find it
used
as a pod parent, however my ancestor database does not totally cover all
iris.

Best regards,

Are those Hybrids possible to find!!

Maybe you have any of them Clarence?

Do you know any reseller of old DM winners ??

Do you know any good book of 'colour - genetics' for Iris?

Is your ancestor database published, Mike?? Do you sell it ??

Do you know how many named hybrids there are totally??

Are there any list published with the names??

When they come up with a new hybrid in another country
are the names have to be granted by the AIS, or synchronized in some
way?? Or can there be different hybrids in different countrys with the
same name???
