For those new to the list, my father is the editor for the AIS Bulletin,
and I do all the layup and graphic design. I don't grow a whole lot of iris
- strictly a novice here. I participate on this list mainly as a contact
for my father. I also maintain the AIS web page.
I am planning a lengthy vacation. I expect to be out of the country from
November 8 through the end of the year. I wanted to give people plenty of
warning, because it will change the schedule for the publication of the
January Bulletin. We will complete most of the work before I leave, with
last minute changes when I get back. It will probably go out late in
January.
If anyone has any input for the January Bulletin, we will need it earlier
than usual, no later than October 15th.
Since I will be gone for such a long time, I will unsubscribe from this
list just before I leave, and re-join upon my return. I will be a long way
from any computer -- primarily in India and Sri Lanka -- so I will not be
answering any email during that time.
I will update the AIS web page just before I leave, and it will remain
unchanged until I get back.
I will post at least one or two reminders on this list between now and my
departure on November 8. I hope I don't inconvenience people too much.
