Since I don't have to deal with the borer I agree with you on this one. I
just spent 2 hours pulling bindweed out of 1 iris bed. 4 down and 8 to go!
I'm just about ready for that first frost. Watching all that bindweed turn
brown and shrivel up is the best part of winter.
