Sharon Ruck pointed out that I am a member of the AIS Board...Jeanne Clay
Plank is on the Board (and she is AIS Secretary!) and I think she is on the
List. Marilyn Harlow is the Membership Secretary, and she has been on the
list from the beginning. Mike Lowe who helped Tom start this list, and who
so often provides intellectually stimulating input, will be on the Board
starting in November. And of course, Scott Aitken's father Terry Aitken, a
Director and the Editor, has direct access to the list. And Kathy Guest is
not only an RVP but a soon to be Administrative Officer on the Board in all
probability.
I hope I haven't miss anyone...but my point in sending this message is to
tell Sharon, and others who may doubt it, that the members of the Board of
AIS want AIS to be a "people" organization. The days with the Board operated
as a closed group are gone. Not everyone can have his or her way on
