Since the subject of plant hardiness zones has come up, I thought these
links would be on interest:
For the USA: http://www.compassnet.com/hueppi/tropics/usdazone.htm
http://194.215.22.100/fuchsias/usdazones.html
http://pathfinder.com/@@pY0ZcAQAoCJI*v6R/vg/TimeLife/ZoneFinder/zoneinfo.html
For Canada: http://www.ICanGarden.com/zone.htm
For Europe: http://194.215.22.100/fuchsias/eurozoner.html
There are persistant rumors that the USDA is in the process of a complete
restucturing of the current USDA zone system to include other data than just
the winter average min. temps. but I have been unable to find anyone to
confirm or deny this.
