how about leaf miner in columbine?  I notice my columbine still get leaf
miner (although it doesn't seem to hurt them) - is it the same bug?

I just went to a program on Beneficial Insects - given by a local personality
for our iris banquet.  In fact, Clarence will remember Sally Cunningham as
the person who interviewed him on TV.  Anyway... Sally points out that few
insects are really that destructive to the garden and we shouldn't all panic
when we see one.  Of course, I draw the line at irisborer, but I'm going to
pay more attention now to who's in the garden and what they're doing there!
