Today must have been the busiest day in IRIS-L history. I received
approximately 80 messages today. Is my mail server backed up or is everyone
coming out of the woodwork this week? :)
Questions: Do SDB's generally have less flower substance than taller bearded
irises? Do individual SDB blooms generally not last as long as larger
bearded irises?
The reason I ask is that THIRD CHARM produced one bloom which lasted only
about 2 days before shriveling. Was this a fluke or is it not considered one
of the more desirable SDB's? I'm not asking anyone to bash the hybridizer,
just tell me how this one stacks up against other SDB's.
