  I saw that crack (or was it a compliment) in your Email of Sept. 16th and
I would like to advise you that everything I said in my Into. is correct and
true. What I didn't say (from shyness) was the other half. I only have one
eye that works at all
and it doesn't see too well and if it gets much worse there will be no more
typing and I will be moving in with my daughter & family (not far ss they
hsve built on a corner of my last farm) Only one ear works (with aid of a
hearing aid - from noisy tractors in the old days. I never did have any
horses - just the  latest IHC machines. I always had too much to do and when
it got too tough I bought a bigger machine (and more land. It was my wife
that got me into iris and 40 acres of appple orchard that got me out of the
nursery business - apple picking and iris shipping come at the same dates.
Now this Iris List has revived the iris interest and fond memories of
flowers and friends and if you don't slow down on writing letters I am going
to have to retire again as can't handle 20 letters a day and hate to not
read them all at least - a bit nosey too as well as curious. Linda seems a
popular name as you are the third recently. One is my new house keeper and
the other works with disabled people in a group home. She spotted my name in
cyberspace and and got curious. Incidently she has a husband and a son in
2nd year University. The other has daughters in school.Both work for money
as  two job parents. Sorry this is so long (and dull?) but it started off as
sort of humour. I never know how my stories will end up until I see the end.
