Joe and Helene Mertzweiller in Baton Rouge?  I hope so, as they are two of
the most wonderful people on this blue planet. If you don't you must call
them and introduce yourselves!

For those who do not know about Joe, he is the co-author of the book The
Louisiana Iris, and was the first person to breed and introduce tetraploid
Louisiana irises.  His beautiful wife Helene is a most charming southern
belle (even tho' she was born and bred in Yankeeland).   Clarence Mahan in
