Thank you! I trust it was a good year. Better than l929. Only four, I
remember the adults talking in very emotional terms.  My Dad was a baker, so
we usually had enough to eat, but we were taught to eat bread with
everything!  I hated butter, soI had to be forced into eating it. Even now I
take my toast and bread without any spread.
