AIS book not arriving

Hello again. About a month ago, I sent off my $20 to AIS for their book,
and $12 for the HIPs membership. Either I am too impatient, or things are
just slow this time of year, but neither check has cashed, and no books have
been received. Is this a normal thing for these busy, I'm sure, folks????
The transplanted irises are all putting on baby leaves and simply doing
their fall growth well. The leaves that browned and died dont seem to have
affected them. It will be interesting to see if any of the Dutch irises I
transplanted into the same bed come up, since I planted the others "over" them.
My mail today has been coming in backwards, getting replies to folks before
I see their posting. Must be a thursday in Bubbaville.
Wish I could go to the Canadian conference and meet you great folks. Sigh...
