I can't translate the first compound. When we say bleach here in the US
what we typically are referring to is a compound that contains chlorine
for oxidation (whitening). I looked up chlorine:
Swedish: klor, kloren, gasformigt grunda:mne anva:nt bl a till att rena vatten
My officemate who worked at Ericsson, Gunnar, says this roughly means
that we use it to treat water for drinking which is true. It makes no
reference to bleaching (oxidizing) for cleaning / disinfecting purposes.
Bleach says:
go:ra blekare (blek/medel -- bleaching-agent)
disinfect:
kvicksilver/beta -- treat with mercury (quicksilver)
disinficerar -- go:ra ren fo:r att avla:gsna bakterier
(I guess this means that you're dealing with killing bacteria.
Fungus translates as "svamp" -- klassen Fungi. These are the microbes
that cause rot.
How about do:da svamp? :-)
