For any interested AIS members or others interested in iris: JOIN US FOR A
HIGH DESERT WEEKEND OF IRIS! The American Iris Society Region 23 Annual
Convention, hosted by the Albuquerque, New Mexico, Aril Society (The ONLY local
aril iris society extant!). Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22, 1996. Cost
$65 - includes registration, banquet Saturday evening, Judges' Training and two
continental breakfasts. Programs to include a talk by well known hybridizer
Keith Keppel, slide presentations and a question and answer panel. There will
also be raffle drawings, a short auction and a boutique where you can shop for
many iris decorated items. Come and join the fun! Keith Keppel will also give
a iris judges training workshop, which has special appeal to AIS judges, but
non-judges are welcome as are non-AIS members and are sure to enjoy and benefit
