Re: Borers, marigold 'control'

I believe marigolds  act like ground up chrysantheumum ( had to look that one
up) called pyrethrum which is an insectiside - all natural- .  Always was
told to plant marigolds along the garden border, I guess that is why.  Oh,
and us New Englaners plant a fish too!    Doreen F. McCabe
