Thanks to everyone on the replies to the above.  Only this one more
question - if this storage in water or pots set in water should last for
several weeks or more, should some form of light fertilize be added
during this period or will the plants obtain enough from sun and water
only?  

Make that two questions.  If the SIBs are potted, can they be set in
the water trough with the LAs and JIs?  I proposing only to keep enough
water to just come up around the pots an inch or so.

Thanks again.  May carp a little this weekend during the labor, tho.

Texas Zone 7 where they have advised my area the high pressure has
settled in for while, bringing an extended hot spell with it.  Drat!
