If you are intent upon attracting butterflies you might also wish to plant
parsley and rue. Apparently these serve as nurturing plants for the blue
swallowtail and the monarch. My parsley is always convered at a certain point
with enchanting swallowtail caterpillers and the rue is of enormous interest
to monarchs. So is bronze fennel.
